A membership model allows us to keep our practice intentionally small and highly personalized. While many traditional primary care physicians care for 3,000 or more patients, we limit our panel to around 10% of that size. The result is a very different experience: same- or next-day appointments, visits that last up to an hour, minimal wait times, and a physician who truly knows you as a person — not just as a chart in the system.
You do not need insurance for your primary care — your monthly membership covers all visits, with no co-pays or surprise bills. That typically takes care of 90% of your healthcare needs. For the other 10% — specialist care, hospitalizations, and emergencies — we recommend pairing Aurora with a high-deductible or catastrophic plan as a safety net. Most members find this combination costs less overall than traditional insurance alone.
Absolutely. We offer a free Meet & Greet so you can spend time with Dr. Malhotra, ask questions, and get a feel for the practice before making any commitment. No pressure, no obligation — just a conversation. You can schedule directly using the Meet & Greet button or on the Contact Us page.
There are no long-term contracts or required minimum term. Many patients find it takes about three months to fully experience Aurora's difference in day-to-day care — but you're free to cancel anytime with 30 days' written notice, no fees. If you decide to re-enroll after cancelling, you're welcome back on a space-available basis, subject to a $285 re-enrollment fee.
